Description

The LEAD Foundation is hosting a three-day intensive debate camp for anyone interested in public speaking and competitive debate. You'll learn argument construction, evidence research, and strategy from national debaters.

You'll attend workshops and learn to:
- Write debate arguments from scratch
- Learn how to find and evaluate evidence
- Get specialized feedback on your work
- Present your work in a competitive cohort and realistic debate environment

The camp is open to all grade levels, and students across the globe. Spots are filling up, so sign up below!

Meet Your Coaches

Aditi Giri is the founder & CEO of the LEAD Foundation, and a rising senior at Broad Run High School in Ashburn, Virginia. She is a 2x NSDA Nationals Semifinalist, a NCFL Grand National Tournament Semifinalist, and a 2x TOC Qualifier and Semifinalist. She also placed 1st at the Seattle University High School Tournament and 3rd at the GMU Patriot Games. Aditi believes that access to educational resources should be granted to all, inspiring her to start the LEAD Foundation. Outside of debate, she enjoys choreographing dance and watching movies.

Hi guys! My name is tej, im a current junior at Cary Academy high school in north carolina, and have participating in speech and debate for 3 years now. Alongside training novices, I’ve also bidded for TOC, been a consistent finaler at all my locals, finals at GMU and also fourth place/best PO at JV harvard, out of over 250 participants. Not related to debate, I love reading, gardening, and learning languages. I’m so excited for LEAD this year!

Yash Kini is a rising junior at James Madison High School in Vienna, Virginia. He has finaled at GMU Patriot Games and the University of Kentucky Season Opener (UKSO), qualified to the Tournament of Champions and NCFL, won the VHSL Regional Championship twice, and placed fourth at the VHSL State Championship. As Congressional Debate becomes increasingly lay, Yash places a strong emphasis on delivery and rhetoric, believing that compelling communication is the universal language of competitive success. In his free time, he enjoys playing euphonium and drums, as well as the occasional game of Block Blast.
